experience

I have 10+ years experience working with individuals living with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases. I lead with empathy, compassion, creativity, person-centered approaches and humour.


I am a certified coach with Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA ®) to Dementia Care and have experience working with individuals with responsive behaviours.


From assisted living, Adult Day Program, community, Long Term Care, or personally caring for my granny, I have supported folks across many settings and happy to support where ever I am able to.

    Fees: $35 per hour*

    Minimum 2 hour duration


    Services:

    • Person-centered activities to support physical, emotional, cognitive stimulation

    • Companionship

    • Light meals & house work

    • Community outings

    • Family respite

      qualifications


      • Bachelor of Applied Science- Adult Development and Aging- University of Guelph

      • Activation Coordination in Gerontology- Graduate Certificate

      • G licensed

      • Can provide an updated Vulnerable Sector Check

      • CPR & First Aid Trained

      • Level 1 Certification for MUSIC Care by Room 217 (Level 2 to be completed November 2026)
